The first step really is to go through the homes with your Realtor, because you should narrow it down to 3 homes to make offers on. Before making an offer you need an exit strategy. With 52% of the sales on the Grand Rapid Association of Realtors in March being foreclosures and short sales, I would be remiss if I didn't help buyers find great deals in foreclosures and short sales. To be honest with you, people are still buying and selling houses every day in the Grand Rapids area. Year-to-date, 1352 homes have sold and 742 homes are pending with the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors. Currently, there are 8644 single family homes for sale. What does that tell us?
