The HUGE Parade kicks off the celebration at 10:00 am. The parade starts at Hwy. 92 (old WalMart/Furniture Express) and goes north on Main Street through the Olde Town merchant district to Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. After the parade, join in the downtown City Park until 3:00 pm for food, Adam the juggler, Tim the Magician, musical entertainment, children's games, watermelon seed spitting contest, cake walk, arts and crafts, and vendors of all types. Fun for young and old! Don't forget the Annual Woodstock Freedom Run at 7:30 am. The day concludes with fireworks at dusk behind the Target shopping center at Hwy 92 and I-575.

Millions of Homeowners Saving Money

There is a "Tax Credit" for homeowners that upgrade their Heating and Air Conditioning System. There is a Federal, State and Utility Company program with rebates to upgrade your systems. For "Georgia" there are currently rebates starting at $300 to help with heating and cooling purchases along with $1500 from the main gas provider in the state of Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light provider. This money from the gas company is given just for replacing your old heat and air system. They will pay $300 for 80% efficient gas furnace and air conditioning system or $400 for a 90% efficient system. If you have two or three systems in the home they will pay on every one system up to $1500.

"BE CAREFULL" do your homework. make sure that the air conditioning system matches with the 80% or 90% heating-units-"seers" especially if your heating system is in the attic.

It is always best to contact at least "three" HVAC Companies" for price quotes and recommendations and contact your tax professional for the federal tax credit.
