Everyone is looking for a good deal when buying a home. If you're careful and experienced you can find great deals on Las Cruces real estate. Some of these deals are short sales and that's why it's important to work with a Realtor who has the knowledge and experience to identify short sale opportunities. When you think you have found a short sale your Realtor needs to research it to determine a few things. Just because that home is listed as a short sale doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get the price advertised, or even get the home at all. (2 comments)

There's no doubt about it, if you're moving to Las Cruces from back east, you will fall in love with the space, privacy and designs that you find in the Southwest. We have yet to work with someone who has asked if they can buy an apartment on the 4th floor of a high rise. Southwestern style is unique with clean lines, rounded corners, (0 comments)

In September 2010 the Las Cruces City Council voted to start curbside recycling. The plans are being finalized to get that program started in April of 2011. For now, the existing recycling program is comprised of many drop off locations that collect items in co-mingled, or mixed together format. That mean that it does not have to be separated by you. This is also called single stream recycling.
