Bob Steward at Activerain challenged all of us to write about local business and he offered a mess of points for doing so.  One of the business' I wrote about was Jan's Place in Elkhart Indiana, and I have been there for a total of 3 times now, enjoying breakfast each time I have gone.  Take a look at the photo from my first visit to that from yesterday...Notice anything different?

jans place: Elkhart County, Indiana Local Business Owners Are Grateful For Internet Exposure! - 08/15/09 10:01 AM
I have interviewed 6 local business owners and uploaded information and photos of their business so give them internet exposure!  Boy are they grateful!  Most think at first I am wanting to charge them for this service but I quickly explain about the contest and that I am doing this as a service for them. They love it!
I fully expect The River Inn Lounge and Restaurant in Bristol, The Colonial Pancake House, Karen Sue Mishler with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Jan's Place Restaurant, American Countryside Farmers Market and Gold Key Home Inspections will be experiencing an influx of business.

jans place: Jan's Place, Elkhart, Indiana Good Home Cooking With Humor! - 08/09/09 03:04 PM
One of the first things you notice when you walk into Jan's Place in Elkhart, Indiana is all the humorous signs lining the walls.  My favorite is, "You know the look you were trying to get?  Well, you missed it".  I think she was talking about me!
Jan's Place is small in comparison to the brand name food restaurants, but that's okay.  She has made up for it by being BIG on TASTE and since 1991 her Patrons have been in the process of becoming her family.  She has watched children grow into adults.  She laughs with them, jokes around and cuts … (0 comments)
