Elders Village - Designing for Your Future Jeff Zimmerman will discuss Designing for Your Future at Elders Inn’s community room, on Wednesday, May 23rd, at 6:00 pm at 1723 Webster Street, in Alameda.   He will talk about how to adapt our homes to support our environment as we age.  Please call Elders Village at 510-217-8527 to reserve your seat for the meeting.

ALAMEDA SENIOR SAFETY PROGRAM

ALAMEDA SENIOR SAFETY PROGRAM. Keeping seniors safe in their homes is the goal of the Senior Safety Program in Alameda.   The program offers free home safety visits to advise of any potential hazards in the home.  Any one who is 60 years of age or older and lives in Alameda is eligible to participate in the program.   Program director Erin Christ says, "The program has been very well received by those she has helped.  But we need to be sure that every single Senior in Alameda knows how to be safe in their homes."
