Characterized as one of many "urban villages" by Arlington County, Crystal City is almost exclusively populated by high-rise apartment buildings, corporate offices, hotels, and numerous shops and restaurants. There is also an extensive network of underground shopping areas and connecting corridors beneath Crystal City.

reagan washington national airport: Tips for Yellow Line Commuters - 05/20/10 08:55 AM

In the morning, metro congestion starts to build up at 7:15 am from Crystal City station going to Pentagon station. The rush typically lasts until 9 am so as much as possible don't take the trains during these times.
If you will be coming from Gallery Pl-Chinatown station to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport station, don't add up to the crowd by not riding after 4:45 pm to 6:30 pm
