On January 21st the broker owners of Exit Realty held internet social network training at Agape Village in West Columbia, SC. Key Yessaad, the undisputed champion of all things Google, was the trainer. This was the fifth all day training session conducted by Key for the Exit offices in the Midlands. There are a lot of things in life that should not be left to chance. I learned early on as a homeowner what my limitations were when it came to repairing broken plumbing. I stink at repairing anything to do with plumbing. I do not mind admitting that, because I have failed in just about every attempt I have made in the last 30 years. The point is, I know this now and take the appropriate steps in hiring a trained plumber to fix the problems. I recently toured a relatively new Lexington neighborhood with which I was familiar but had not had a chance to check out. Ted Johnson, director of sales and marketing, and Bridget Downing sales consultant for Saluda River Club, had invited the brokers and agents of the local Exit offices to tour their neighborhood.

The idea is extremely valid for today's competitive, internet driven real estate market. Most realtors do not realize just how fast a potential purchaser will eliminate their property listing from contention.
