Arinzona's high country has enjoyed an extended late summer. The weather has been wonderful with days in the upper 70s and nights around 40. It's over. Things are about to change.

Don't forget to harvest the last tomatoes and bring in plants that you want to seve for the spring.

Turn off hose connections and drain your hose reels.

Mulch mulch mulch.

Soon the pampas grasses will be drying out and become gangly. You will need to be cut back. Here's a tip. While they are still green and soft tie them up. Then once the foliage dries you can cut the back as a bundle. The bundle will be a lot easier to dispose of than loose dried material.
