WHen I am on listing appointments, I normally have a talk with sellers about thenumber of photos that are needed on a listing. I have been on sites looking in other areas for fun, say a million dollar beach property some where, and tell them I breeze right past listings that have only one or a few photos. The main reason is I do not know the area and listing details such as number of beds and baths are not as important as seeing what the property looks like first. UK tennis players Bruno Agostinelli and Eric Quigley will be in an exhibition in Crestwood KY at 7 p.m. tomorrow to benefit Apple Patch.
The Apple Patch is an organization that is dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Quigley played tennis at South Oldham and will be a freshman at UK and Agostinelli will be a senior at UK.
There is no cost, but donations to benifit Apple Patch will be accepted.

Louisville has the honor of hosting the triple a baseball allstar game this year. Tonight is the All-Star Homerun Derby at Louisville Slugger Field. It gets into full swing at 7:05pm. Ticket prices range from $14-$20 for the Home Run Derby. The Triple-A All-Star Game is on Wednesday again at Louisville Slugger Field beginning at 7:05pm. Tickets for the al star game are $16-$20. This weekend is the Blues n Barbeque festival at the Water tower. Things kick off tonight at 5pm at the Water Tower on River Road. Saturday it starts back up at 4pm and Sunday at 2pm. Should be good music and great food. You can bring blankets and lawn chairs and I don’t believe coolers are allowed.

Prospect agrees to Purchase Putney Pond - 07/10/08 04:43 AM
After long negotiations, The City of Prospect has agreed to pay just over $700,000 for 25 acres behind city hall in Prospect. Putney Pond that is on the property is about 4 arces. They are buying the land from Steve Cox, a local developer, to keep it as green-space and a possible future park for Prospect. In Oldham County, 4th graders are required to create a writing portfolio with several different styles of writing. When completed, they are scored by a team of teachers and they can receive (from highest to lowest) a score of distinguished, proficient, apprentice and novice. Overall schools in Oldham County do really well and score at the top of the portfolio scoring. This year, there was a first. The weekend was good. Little rain at times and big down pour on the 4th, but the day still ended up with a great fireworks show at the Oldham County Aquatics Center in Buckner, KY. Also had the chance to get out to the Oldham County Country Club (it is a semi private club and you don't have to be a member to play the course, just make a tee time) with my son and a neighbor and his son.
