Are you looking for homes with land?  Anyone who is relocating to South Texas has the opportunity to move to an area which has more than the standard lot size homes.
Many of the areas surrounding San Antonio sell their homes on at least one acre of land.  There are a number that are in close commuting to the San Antonio working world so are in high demand.

Today has been one of those typical Texas days.  The one where the saying comes from.. You know that saying that "If you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change."
The weathermen predicted that the Hill Country (Boerne area) would maybe freeze last night and maybe it would get that cold in San Antonio.  It did and there was a fatal wreck due to a bridge icing over.   Then this afternoon it was so hot the air conditioner came on.

If you are in the market for a home with land, consider Wilson County.  Some of the subdivisions are within 15 minutes of Brooks City Base area and 20 minutes to downtown. There are several towns located here but Adkins, St. Hedwig, LaVernia and Floresville offer the closest commute.  If you are looking for something further away with good land and hunting, consider Nixon, Stockdale, Denhawken, Pandora, Poth, or Falls City.Floresville and LaVernia are growing and it is seen in the changes in the towns.  Floresville is the county seat and has the annual Peanut Festival.  LaVernia has the Bluebonnet Festival and … (8 comments)
