realtors in san antonio tx: Houses are still selling, are you still selling? - 03/17/09 10:45 PM
We all hear, this a "buyers market" but guess what? Without sellers we won't have a buyer's market. A lot of people are scared to sell their homes because of all the "foreclosures" swarming the market places. At the end of the day, consumers still need to sell and relocate. Your home will still sell, just not at the price you would have gotten a few years back. The remedy is, consult a Realtor, groom your house for the market, and price it right. Now is the time to take advantage of a buyer's market. What you don't

realtors in san antonio tx: Looking for a house, sure I'd love to work with you, quick question, are you currently working with a Realtor? - 07/05/08 10:32 PM
Now we've all experienced this as Realtors, but I feel customers don't really know the reason why we ask this question. To clarify, the reason we ask the question is based on our Realtor's Code of Ethics. We are NOT allowed to work with someone that's currently contracted and signed with another Realtor, period. Now some may not think this is a big issue, by I do. I have over 20 years experience in the military and ethics have plays a great role in my life and all my past and current careers. Why would I not feel that way now.

realtors in san antonio tx: Planning your homebuying the right way - 05/27/08 11:09 PM
With all the recession "scares" going around, most people feel this is a "buyers market!" Not true in all areas of the US. You have to plan accordingly when you are thinking of buying a home. Now you may ask, "how hard is it, sellers are desperate!" Not true, again, if the market reflect it's a "buyer's market", sellers get on edge. They instinctively think why should the give their house away. Now is the time for the smart and savvy buyer. You can really buy a great home, you just have to be fair and smart about it. Just because CNN is

realtors in san antonio tx: San Antonio Texas, recession proof? - 05/10/08 08:22 PM
There was an interesting article in the San Antonio Express News the other day stating that San Antonio doesn't suffer from the recession, as far as the housing market goes. It also should be noted that the homes in San Antonio rise about 4% a year in value. That is considered a good appreciation rate! Our market has dipped in some areas however in others, take New Braunsfel, it rose 1% over the last quarter. The Northwest side, near Lackland AFB, rose about 42%! Wow what a recession. If you're in the market for a nice home that's
