Penalty to Not Record Your Client ID...a 2 Million Dollar Fine!

This New Law Overrides The Privacy Act, all Consumers(Buyers and Sellers) must Show Identification, minimum. of 2 pieces of ID to their Realtor(s).

Friday June 27/08 afternoon after lunch I met up with again with my friend Capt. Mobey. also known as Derrick Mobey (no relationship to Mobey Dick, as far as Derrick knows) my Friend who I Wrote about Earlier this week is the first series on the Tall Ships in Victoria in 2008.

We had a great time, especially on Board viewing the USCG Cutter Eagle, We were told she was a war prize after the war with Germany, and Given to the US Coast Guard as a Sailing training ship for Officer Training .

Today I'm off to Board the Tall Ships in Victoria's Inner Harbour.

The Tall Ships arrived in Victoria Harbour yesterday around noon, 24 in Total.
I bought a four day event pass($35). I am going with a client and friend Derrick Mobey( no relation to Mobey Dick, Derrick is better looking even at 76!).

It'll be a great photo opportunity for Derrick and I armed with our Pentax Digital SLR's which we both enjoy..I now realize I need a telephoto lens for photographing Ships etc,who would think of that, I just need a wide angle lens for house shots right!

We Came Home To A Surprise...These Flowers Were Missing in our New Flower Garden.....

Seems little Annika and girl friend invaded our Flower Garden while we were out tonight......the two Mum's with their Daughters in tow arrived while we were getting out of our SUV, the one girl who was distrught with her Mum insisting she hand us this wee note.....I seems that when something is wrong in their household, they need to find a way to fix it, by doing something nice in return.

The two girls picked most of the flowers on our Flowering bushes, Jane's new Dailias's and few more. I just said I think Annika has learned her leason coming to applogise.

What Do You Think, Should they do something to Fix It ? and if so any ideas. There Mum's Think so! I thought about washing my car for a month...but they are too small...maybe paint the house...no! How about some ideas! These two girls are around 5 to 6 years old.

After selling one of my clients home through my Internet Blog marketing efforts(3 offers and Sold $13,000 above asking in 2 days), I now set in motion to find this client the home of their dreams. We spend several weeks looking at homes, none seemed to fit the Bill.

Last Weekend a Fellow Realtor in my Office said "I'm taking you to Seattle to See a Mariners Baseball Game"(I helped one of his clients Buy their dream home last Summer while he was away).

The Morning before leaving for the "Clipper" (Ship to Seattle) I did a Victoria MLS Home search of New Listings. I saw one I knew my Buyer would love to see and probably Buy. I phoned a fellow Realtor to arrange a viewing while I was out of town and emailed my client to say John will show you a new listing on Irma if you would like to see it, call me on my Cell if you need my input. This week the Building Inspection went well, the Financing Came through and we removed Subject's. Her Response to me was this lovely testimonial.
