Hillsborough County Real Estate Report - Single Family and Condominiums
Real estate sales continued to decline with homes and condos falling and the average sales prices continuing downward.   The most significant statistic was the -40% drop in the number of condominiums sold in 2008 as compared to 2007.  Average sales prices fell -5.5% to $192, 124.   The days on market increased significantly from 95 DOM to 143. 
The average selling price for single family homes dropped 9% to $281,084 from $308,807 in 2007.  There were 13.2% fewer homes sold in 2008 and the DOM increased slightly from 105 to 111.  These … (6 comments)
