Have you ever seen an 18 inch high bed with headboard and nightstands?
How about a 26 inch high recliner?
How about 10 inch high table lamps next to a sofa?
I have, and it's time to speak up about it.
Google "Virtual Staging" and you, too can see a world of furniture for diminutive people. When virtual staging first broke ground here on AR, people were afraid of misrepresentation, and that's exactly what is going on with almost every outfit out there. In fact, I rarely see realistically proportionate work in this arena.

Here's a conceptual staging slideshow we just finished up. Our client says: "You are the best and have been a total pleasure to work with!! I have been in sales all of my life and it is rare to find people like you! I would love to be able to collaborate with you in some way to sell your concept across the country. It is so exciting! Consider your options carefully. Staging is unregulated but specialized field of expertise regarding many factors, including, but not limited to, the target demographic of the property, the architecture, the location, and the amenities the property offers.
Unregulated means there is no authority to oversee the education and qualifications of someone who wants to call themselves a "stager", virtual or otherwise.
Virtual Staging is a specialized field within the staging industry. It basically breaks down into the insertion of design ideas onto an existing image of a room or exterior of a house.

What an incredible day yesterday was! I just have to share it. This story may be long but it is worth the read.
We took on a new project last week, a large-scale redesign in the interest of future equity for the client, a young man in his early twenties.
I met this man two years ago, at a local nightspot. He asked me to dance, and after about a minute of chitchat, we realized we were related distantly on my grandmother's side.
