Caughman Ridge is a small neighborhood in southeast Columbia that was built in the mid-2000s.  It is conveniently located just a block away from Caughman Road Elementary School for families with young children.  The Caughman name shows up frequently because back in the day the Caughman families were large landholders whose farms and fields covered the area.  The road that led to their homes was named Caughman Road.

I have not been an advocate of this Federal tax credit because I don't believe in government handouts.....receiving tax dollars for doing nothing.   But I'm changing my mind.
After completing a recent short sale with Citi Mortgage I began to examine where all this money was put to good use.
