Columbia, SC The National Association Of Realtors reported today that monthly existing home sales were up for the first time in nearly 3 years. The September increase was the largest monthly rise since July 2003. I would like to see what percentage of these sales were foreclosures. Some of my buyers seem to think that foreclosures represent the best value, but I've been in several foreclosed properties around Columbia the past few months and some of them are no prize.
