Don't Touch What?

Well... what do you think happened when I saw THIS sign? Well... let me tell you what... there is nothing worse than trying to tell me that I can't do my job for my client! (Or for my curiosity at least)

I opened that baby in a millisecond! Funny enough, I really can't tell you why they put that there, because although the house was built in 1986 and additions have been made to the house along the way... it was about the cleanest I have ever seen an electrical panel! Except for the two screws missing from the cover, it was flawless :-( I must say, I was disappointed!

The house was staged, and they had some temporary "house sitters" living there, so that is why the note was there I guess. Funny though, when I saw that note, my blood strted to boil!

So lesson to you Home Stagers and Agents, unless it's a known safety hazard... don't try this. If it is a safety issue, the electricity shouldn't be on in the first place. Call an electrician and have him mark the panel "Out Of Service"
