For those of you who have lost out with Compass, I've been doing some research, and low & behold...I'm still seeing Compass's Facebook page out there, and the latest comment as of 4/6/11...

Compass Internet Systems had everybody removed from their distributor list with Point2, so now Point2 is only allowing 24 hours for those people to start paying their dues direct to Point2, yet a lot of them paid you for the year!!

point2 agent: New Footer Links in Point2 Agent Websites - 01/27/11 05:56 AM
I just noticed this morning that at the bottom of every Point2 Agent website are some text links to Yardi, Point2, Point2 Homes, RentCafe, Property Shark, and others, ALL OF WHICH TAKE OVER YOUR SITE when opened.
I can't believe they don't open in a new window and Point2 Agent should know better than that with basic credit link no-no's. Any credit links should open in a new window.
For years I've noticed too that on agent's "Links" page, same thing. Any other real estate website on this Links page takes over the site.

point2 agent: My Clients Are Always Makin' Me Think! Some WordPress Basics... - 01/10/11 08:09 AM
...and I love it!!! I had a question this morning about uploading a .pdf to one's "WordPress" and additionally, my client added that she wanted to put heading tags on some of her post content, and why wasn't that option available in WordPress? It is actually...it's under "format" in WordPress content editor.
But it got me thinking. And something as simple as "tables," and "iFrames" that we've grown accustomed to in "website platforms" is just not there in WordPress.
A great example of the "difference" between the "open source" platform like WordPress and a "website" platform, I'll use Point2 Agent for comparisons … (2 comments)

For those of you who do not want Captcha in your Point2 Agent website, simply give Point2 Agent Customer Care a call and they can remove it - it's on a site by site basis, so you will need to call them.

Saul Klein announced that Yardi Systems has acquired Point2 Technologies. Never even had an inclination that this was going to happen. What could that mean for Point2 employees and Point2 members?????
