Agent Sites & Property Sites – drop down menu system – the agent site allows for the drop down menu system and offers a “manage menu” area to drag and drop your pages as you want them.

Any of you having trouble uploading images into your Point2 Agent website? I've been having issues for the last week and finally ended up skipping the emails back and forth and calling Point2 Agent myself...Here's what they're telling me...
1) For those using Chrome to edit your Point2 Agent website, don't. Chrome is having issues itself right now with the Java plugin, so you will have problems even doing the simple task of uploading a picture on a page.
2) For those using IE9...don't. It's in beta and looks like a bunch of garbly gook when you try and edit any … (2 comments)

There is a new setting within Point2 Agent websites under "Settings and Disclaimers" - when you log in you'll be in your online office by default. Up at the top is "Website" Jump To - Edit. Click Edit...then you'll be able to see the blue bar with Settings and Disclaimers. You'll have the option of removing the CAPTCHA that's at the bottom of your forms in Point2 Agent websites. Or you can leave it - by default it's on.

For those of you that have been thinking about upgrading from the Point2 Agent Standard Website to the Point2 Agent Professional Website, there used to be a Test Drive icon in your Online Office, of which the IDX banner has replaced.
I can't guarantee it's still available because I couldn't find the icon anywhere once it was replaced...I'm not sure if Point2 is phasing out the test drive or not, but I've always been successful simply by contacting Point2 through the client's website (or your website) or calling them at 1-866-977-1777 and just asking for the test drive for the professional … (3 comments)

As some of you are aware, I had myself removed from Point2's Approved Vendor Program almost a year ago or so, and others have followed since then.
I will quote from the "Point2 Approved Vendor Agreement"...

I was working in Point2 sites all weekend, then last night, I start getting the error that I can't log in due to my cookies, security settings, yada yada yada...but what cracked me up is the message I got for any P2 site when trying to log in...
"IF YOU ARE A POINT2 MEMBER AND THIS ISSUE PERSISTS, PLEASE GO TO YOUR ONLINE OFFICE AND CONTACT SUPPORT..." Why in the world would they make someone contact them through the online office when THEY CAN'T EVEN LOG IN???????

Whenever I talk to a prospective client, I make sure they're aware that Point2 Agent is NOT THE MLS. Your listings have to be entered into Point2 Agent's database in order to get them syndicated with their syndication partners...which is a lot of partners!
Your listings do NOT automatically get "fed" into your Point2 Agent website. But I see it over and over again...agents and clients getting frustrated that they have to enter their listings more than once - meaning once they enter a new listing into their Realtor.com or MLS, they have to copy/paste the text from that listing's description and … (45 comments)

I get new clients who already have IDX that has been co-branded by their IDX company - meaning that they've copied the client's header and footer to show above their MLS searches and results. It's really not a good idea to do this because anytime you add a page, delete a page, change your header or footer, you've got to contact them to change it. They say it's no problem to change, however, I've seen it take weeks, and sometimes just not done at all. I'm seeing it happen about 90% of the time and ended up calling Point2 again and have been letting them know since October...Richard let me know that yes, it has gotten worse, however, there are things we need to "not" be doing on our end so they can do their troubleshooting.

I happened to be in a Point2 Agent website tonight making some updates when I noticed that the client's two featured listing modules were showing the same listing.
This client had her site designed by another designer who had customized the featured listing modules.
The 2 featured listing module settings were at the bottom of the home page in edit mode for updating, and the actual featured listings show up in the right column where they normally do.
So to update them, all we had to do was visit the 2 features at the bottom of the page to change listings that showed and they … (0 comments)
