Enjoy a Beach Day in Buzzards Bay - 08/29/07 11:15 PM
With the Labor Day weekend approaching, When was the last time you enjoyed a beach day?
Today was a perfect beach day!
I was lucky enough to finish my work early enough to head to the beach with my family.
Pack a cooler and grab a beach chair before you know it the summer will be over!
Down at the Mattapoisett Shore's Beach the sun was brightly shining and you could see clear across Buzzards Bay to Falmouth.
Today was an exceptionally low tide, a great day for exploring as the water was like a warm bath. A perfect way to relax and spend quality time … (21 comments)

I know your all thinking Suzanne must have lost her mind, with her dedication to fitness and all. But you heard me right, let me explain...
Last week when I was out and about with the little one when she suddenly got so hungry, she was starving! I can't let the kid starve, I pull into the local Burger King. I can't remember the last time I saw a Burger King menu, but as I'm ordering her kids meal there it is on the menu....

Mattapoisett 150th Celebration - 08/11/07 11:24 PM
The Town beach was the place to be this evening, as the Town of Mattapoisett continued its week long celebration of Mattapoisett's Sesquicentennial Celebration.
Tonight the beach was lit up with a huge bonfire, as family's came together to enjoy as Mattapoisett celebrates. It was a beautiful night to hang out with the family and enjoy the activities.
Down the street at the Town Wharf the Summer Concert Series continued with The Majestics playing for a very appreciative crowd.
Mattapoisetts celebration will end tomorrow with the closing ceremonies at 2:00pm at the Town Wharf with the National Flags Truck Presentation.

Beavertail State Park-Make It A Day Trip! - 08/01/07 03:47 PM
One of my favorite places to visit is Jamestown, RI., a beautiful Island in the Narragansett Bay. A great way to spend a day with the family, this magical place is approx 45 min from Fall River, MA. Just over the Newport Bridge
You actually start to feel the magic as you cross the Newport Bridge, the scenic views of the bay are absolutely breath taking! On this particular trip we visited Beavertail State Park and the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum and Aquarium.
The Beavertail Lighthouse is the third oldest lighthouse in the United States, the museum is open for visits during the season. … (23 comments)
