Lion Country Safari Zebras

A Cageless Zoo

I didn't plan on going to Lion Country Safari but I saw the signs coming back from a listing and said "Why not?". I used to go all the time when I was a kid and could never get enough of this cageless zoo. It amazed me that we could drive right through where all these wild animals lived! Now, years later, an almost forgotten park, it still fascinates me today. The wildlife in Lion Country Safaridon't even seem bothered by the visitors. Some come right up to the vehicle! What a kick!

Wake Up To A Lions Roar

Once you finished the tour of Lion Country Safari, you could visit the Safari World Amusement Park.  There's rides like a carousel and ferris wheel, entertainment, a petting zoo, camel rides and a lot more. My favorite was the Lory Bird feeding. These beautiful creatures sit right on your hand.  They also have a campground where folks tell me they woke up to a lions roar! Awesome!!
