Computer Blues - 04/30/07 11:00 AM
Well we just got back and I have to say that even though it was a remarkable time, I am glad to be back. It really was not as difficult to not be by a computer or cell phone for a few days but next time I may just hit up the Internet cafe once or twice. I ran into some other real Estate Professionals and we had a few nice conversations. I have to unpack now Thanks for looking and I will be posting some things later.

Back again. I spoke earlier of being gone for a few days. actually I will be on a mini vacation, 3 days stuck on a boat off the coast of Mexico. I know a lot of you out there would really like to be steaming off to a far away land but to me I prefer the more out of the way places, I am doing this for someone else and to see if I like the idea of a cruise. Tip of the Day....Farming - 04/27/07 02:40 AM
Commentary to come, we had a discussion this week (every week) regarding farming and it holds true in good and in challenging markets that the best way to find and keep clients is to farm. In our office I believe that we have more agents than most other offices including our other First Team offices that actually go out and wear out shoe leather. I have been looking over the postings I have done and it has occurred to me that I owe everyone an apology. It seems that I have found a new medium in which to butcher the English language. Now I know there is such a thing as spell check and it really should be my best friend....but what can I say. Just in case any of you are wondering about the dog in the picture, that is Wyatt. That particular picture was taken when he was almost 3 months old and 24lbs. He is a Boxer mix, mix with what I have no clue either does the Vet. Wyatt is now 5 1/2 months old and 46lbs. so just in case any of you were wondering there you go. I know we all like to think of ourselves as independent contractors and in a way we are. However what Henry Ford said all those years ago hold true today and in every business that wants to stay in business let alone grow. So think about those words the next time you have a problem client, if you can satisfy them even if they are particular and make them happy with the level of professionalism and knowledge you can rest assured they will give you referrals.
