I sent an offer to a fellow Realtor that represents a bank in the local market for several foreclosures.
My client offered almost the entire asking price.
After several phone calls to the listing agent's office I was told that they would not present the offer to the bank/property owner unless it was accompanied by the buyer's credit scores, and those scores must exceed 620.  The buyer's actual scores were just over 600.  I thought all offers HAD to be presented...
The buyer had already provided a pre-approval (not a pre qualified, a pre approval) letter with the offer.
The seller turned down the offer without even a counter-offer due … (8 comments)
