Leaping lizards! I could not resist this little guy who was crawling along the rocks by the shoreline, looking for something yummy to have for breakfast!!!

These rocks are encrusted with shells, offering excellent hiding spaces for all kind of bugs, as this little guy knows!!!!

He was also watching us get bait fish and feeding the birds .....perhaps he thought we should be feeding him too!!!!

Just a typical laid back day in the Sunshine State!!!

There is nothing as beautiful as the assortment of sea birds we have here in the state. Combine that with our mangroves that have their roots in the salt water and you have a true tropical paradise.

This is just a typical day in Florida with a beautiful egret sitting in a mangrove watching the water for fish.

They watch, wait and swoop down for dinner!!! And if you are here to catch bait fish, they fly over and attempt to steal fish from you.

Just another day in paradise!!! This is all salt water that you are viewing here!!!

Happy Easter to all of my fellow ActiveRainers!!!! It is a laid back day for me...as a matter of fact, the entire weekend is! We went fishing at the Skyway Bridge yesterday - got up at 5am to get ready and did not get home again until almost 8pm!!!!

After a day like that, we decided to relax at home today and enjoy the Master's on TV. I also wanted to share this photo I took of a sea bird that befriended us yesterday - he spent the day with us and we fed him bait fish (green back, small pin fish, shad, small finger mullet) - he was still on the rocks when we left for the night.

So from Ron and I, as well as our feathered friend, HAPPY EASTER!!!

Well, I finally made the 200,000 point mark! It took almost two years and I have to admit that I took a couple of breaks from posting while I was moving, ill, and for a couple of other reasons - but ultimately I missed my friends here at ActiveRain and all of the clients that have found me through this fantastic web site - so I am back and going strong!!!

I would like to thank ActiveRain's founders for this site, the opportunities it provides and to thank my many new friends here who have supported me along the way and continue to support me. I feel like part of a large realtor family, knowing that there are many wonderful people out there that I can call on for real estate and personal issues! That is a wonderful feeling!!!

Two hundred thousand and going strong!!!! Yahoo!!!

Sanity does indeed mean taking one day a week off! While I did not mind working 7 days a week in the past, that was before I had someone special in my life! Now my priorities have changed and I have decided that taking one day a week off is something I will do from now on for my own mental health!!!

I know many realtors work 24/7 answering the phone at all hours and scheduling appointments 7 days a week - I have decided that I will no longer be one of them. Life is too short - from now on I will reserve one day a week for my mental health!!!

While out fishing last weekend I got a photo of this Great Blue Heron after it decided to steal a mullet from the bucket we had them in.

Ron always uses a cast net to get our bait fish and he also managed to get about a dozen mullet in his net - they are great smoked or blackened!!!

I was over getting something from the SUV so he simply put them in an open bucket since we did not think the Heron would take something this large ! While he did steal the fish, I ran after him and he dropped it - so I got it back again!!!!

The mullet dinner was GREAT!!!!!

Well, I have another client that is DONE with short sales!!! We have written contracts on three homes and after months of waiting on each one, she has not gotten any of them! She offered listing price, offered over listing price -

SO I am GLAD to report that we are now ONLY looking at either bank owned or 'regular' listings! As she told me this morning, 'we want to find a home and move into it, not play games with banks that don't want to sell the places'!!! I know how she feels, I am sick of short sales too!!!!!

Palm Harbor is indeed a great place to live with so many single family homes and condos on the market at unbelievable prices right now. The good news is that not everything is a short sale!!!

This photo of the pool, taken from the balcony in the Fountains at Countryside Condo Community is just another example of the great places to live here in North Pinellas County!!

With our A-rated schools, this is a wonderful area in Florida! Convenient to the Gulf Beaches and minutes from Tampa, this is a very popular place to live!!!!

If you are considering relocating, give me a call so I can assist you in your search for that perfect home here in the Clearwater, Palm Harbor area!!!

Yup, even a girl can catch fish down here in the Sunshine State!!! Ron and I were out fishing again last weekend and it was the first time since I was a kid that I caught something we could actually keep and eat!!!

When I was a kid I was always out fishing with my father - but I had not held a fishing rod for about 45 years when I met Ron, so he had to teach me all over again how to fish!

So you can imagine how proud I was of the two trout that I caught last weekend and the fact that Ron blackened them for dinner Monday night!!!

The best part is that I actually enjoy going fishing with him!!!! The joys of living in sunny Florida!!!! Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, what could be better???

By the way, we were wade fishing off the coast near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The water was GREAT!!!!

Indeed, the flood has started down here in the Clearwater area. I have so many clients right now that I have been neglecting my blogging here in ActiveRain! While having this many clients is a good thing, I have to admit that I miss having all the contact that I usually have with my fellow ActiveRainers!!!

The clients are not just local either, we have so many people coming in from out of state AND out of country that our entire team is constantly out showing property to someone!!!

Finally there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!! Life is good and real estate is taking a turn!!!!
