Clearwater Marine Science Aquarium is located on Island Estates in Clearwater. It is also home to Winter, the dolphin that was rescued and lost it's tail. This beautiful little dolphin is the star of the movie DOLPHIN TALE, which was shot right here in our own Clearwater Marine Science Aquarium!
I cannot wait for this movie, staring our own WINTER THE DOLPHIN as well as Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd, to be released this coming September! You can be sure I will be taking my granddaughter to see this film more than once!

As I am leaving Clearwater Beach the sun is setting over the Gulf of Mexico. One last blick at the beautiful sight as I head home, up the coast a couple of miles to Crystal Beach.

Yes, it is April and summer is here on Clearwater Beach! I will be out on the beaches most of the day and dressed accordingly....ponytail, sandals and baseball cap to combat the heat. That is the great part of working down here in the Clearwater Beach area.....we work in casual clothing! You have to if you are out walking through the sand showing beachfront condos and homes all day in 90 degree temperatures!

Yes, this is what it looks like if you take off over the waters of the Gulf of Mexico here on Clearwater Beach....(and you thought this was going to be about airport control towers, didn't you?!)
The Brown Pelican is an amazing bird! Watching this guy take off should be an inspiration for anyone!

Clearwater Beach living is indeed living another day in Paradise! From the white sands of Clearwater Beach to the sparkling greenish blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, living here is a dream come true! There are so many wonderful restaurants that prepare fresh fish and the night life is always active!
There are vendors along the pier on Clearwater Beach selling their goods, live music in too many night spots to even begin to list and then there is always the joy of just watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico as night comes to the seashore!

Clearwater Beach Florida is indeed a little piece of paradise! From my photos you can see why I love living here! We have the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico at our doorstep!
This photo was taken today in Belleair Bluffs. Those condo buildings in the background are on Sand Key, which is part of Clearwater Beach. On the other side of those condo buildings is the Gulf of Mexico which blends perfectly with the blue sky in this photo! Those homes on that finger of land are in the town of Belleair Bluffs.

Clearwater Beach is beautiful! Perhaps that is why it is the vacation destination for so many, both nationally and internationally! Conveniently located in the center of Pinellas County, Clearwater Beach has miles of pure white sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico has waves that are just right for family entertainment!

Clearwater Beach can indeed best be described by picturing crystal white sand and a blue green surf with gentle waves that are inviting to the entire family! Perhaps that is why so many families choose our beautiful Gulf Coast for their vacation destination!
Perhaps that is also why those that visit often decide to relocate down here! You can't beat the weather! We also have A-rated schools, various colleges and universities, no state income tax and you don't need to purchase that expensive winter apparel! Winter boots NOT needed here!!!

Yes, sunsets along Clearwater Beach are something rather spectacular! I don't know what it is that makes the colors so vibrant but it is certainly something worth capturing in a photo!
Living in a sub-tropical region certainly has it's advantages! We are already wearing shorts and sandals down here! Our winters are short and normally mild and even though it gets hot during the summer, living along the Gulf Coast means that we always have a cooling breeze coming in from the Gulf of Mexico!

Clearwater Beach sunsets are always beautiful, that is why they represent 'just another day' down here on the Gulf Coast of Florida! With temperatures in the 80's for weeks already, we have gone directly from Winter to Summer in one jump! Ah, the advantages of living along the Pinellas County shores of the Gulf of Mexico!
We are indeed spoiled down here on the Gulf Coast and that is a GOOD thing!

Clearwater Beach - who can resist living here? Pure white crystal sand, blue-green surf, family friendly waves so the little ones are safer, proximity to all of the Central Florida attractions, minutes to Tampa International Airport...and the list goes on and on!
Clearwater Beach has a wonderful pier, playground and pavillion as well as access to local fishing boats if you are interested in going out to catch that BIG one! Naturally there is also the local pirate boat that will take you for a beautiful tour of our magnificent shores!

Clearwater Beach is a great place to watch the sun setting into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and on a wonderful evening in Spring nothing could be more stunning!

Driving home this afternoon I drove through Clearwater Beach Florida and naturally had to take a moment to snap a couple of photos to show what beautiful weather we are having here in the Clearwater area right now! Blue skies and sunshine!
I cannot even begin to imagine ever living anyplace else! I really love living down here on Florida's Gulf Coast! Clearwater Beach and the entire Clearwater/Palm Harbor Area is unbelievably beautiful! You have to check it out for yourself!
