Largo's John H. Bonner Park is located directly on the intercoastal waterway that separates Largo and Belleair from the Gulf Beaches. It is a lovely park with playgrounds, a boardwalk that leads out to a fantastic fishing pier and even has trails through the woods. Largo's New Atlantis Club has a special arrangement with Largo's John H. Bonner Park.
As with any park, there are plenty of rules and regulations. They are pretty basic things that we all do anyway. The wonderful thing about this park is that there is a back entrance specifically for residents of the New Atlantis … (4 comments)

Imperial Point Clubhouse and pool complex is a wonderful destination for a relaxing afternoon in Largo Florida and here is a great view of the complex taken from across the intercoastal waterway.
We were having lunch at The Pub, a waterfront restaurant on Indian Shores and from our table we had a great view of the pool and clubhouse complex over at Imperial Point!
We were discussing changes and renovatons that were taking place at the home in Imperial Point which will soon be listed in the MLS!

Heritage Village in Largo is a wonderful weekend destination for the entire family! Learn about Florida's past and the rich history of Pinellas County! Located off of Walsingham Road in Largo, Heritage Village is one of Pinellas County's many great parks!
This is a fantastic educational experience for the entire family and a favorite destination for school outings!
While my generation may remember the days of hanging clothing out to dry, I dare say most of today's teenagers would hate to have to do without an electric dryer for their clothing!

Today I took about a half hour break and walked through a small section of Heritage Village Park in Largo Florida. It was my FIRST time there and I have lived in Pinellas County for almost 20 years! This visit was LONG overdue!
I was driving down Wallsingham and had an extra half hour to kill before my next appointment when I noticed I was (once again) passing Heritage Village Park. I made a quick turn and parked the car just outside the property. As I entered the grounds, the above photo is what I saw first.

This morning I was down at Imperial Point and, as always, my camera was with me. While the rest of the nation is experiencing winter, we in Florida are enjoying another day of beautiful weather with blue skies and plenty of sunshine.
Imperial Point is located directly on the intercoastal waterway! It is a combination of single family homes and condos that have a clubhouse and pool complex directly on the water which leads out to the Gulf of Mexico!

largo fl localism: Cool Old Car, But What Is It? - 11/23/10 07:59 PM
On my travels through Indian Rocks and Largo today I passed this car and had to stop and take a photo. I have NO IDEA what type of car it is or the year but it looked so cool that I took the photo hoping that someone here in The Rain would be able to identify it.
If you know what it is, please let me know. It looks like somebody is keeping it in excellent condition, complete with what looks like a new paint job!

Today we enjoyed sitting along the beautiful intercoastal waterway in Largo's Imperial Point. This is such a fantastic community! The clubhouse and pool areas are right on the intercoastal waterway! Just minutes to the white sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico, this is indeed a piece of tropical paradise!

largo fl localism: 14th Annual Halloween Spooktacular In Largo - 10/20/08 12:10 PM
Saturday, October 25th is a date to mark in your calender since it is the day all ghosts and goblins will be gathering in Largo's Central Park from 4 pm to 10 pm for the Spooktacular!!! There will be trick or treating going on and there will be inflatables, slides, various activities and games to participate in!
There will also be a specific teen area with music and dancing for the 'older' crowd of youngsters!
Pets, alcohol and coolers will not be allowed in the park during this event and there is a minimal charge to participate (wristbands will be given … (2 comments)
