We have lived in Parker, Colorado for close to 20 years. One of our favorite things about our town are the community events planned throughout the year. For the last 6 months we've enjoyed the Farmers Market on Sundays from 8am-1pm, Wine Walks on the last Friday of the month and Movies in the Park. HEY! Look at Me! ActiveRain started something new this week. They are recognizing Top Contributors in the Rain. There's been a lot of discussion about this new "Award", some positive and some negative. Kris Neese, "Mr. Behind the Scenes at ActiveRain", wrote a blog post explaining the new AR badge came to be. Being the curious person that I am, I clicked on the link on My Home page and found that I am #51 overall. Can't complain too much about that. I do my part to contribute and I know there are folks who are more consistent and contributor more.

Friday Fotos: What do you see out your window? We are fortunate to have great views from our house. It's one of the reasons we bought it. We have a few of the Rocky Mountains, downtown Denver and the golf course (we back to the 7th green). On a clear day, it's very peaceful to sit outside and just enjoy Mother Nature. I moved to Colorado in 1991. I love it here and you couldn't pay me to move. I've lived in Parker, Colorado for almost 13 years. It's a beautiful place to live AND work. (That's a story for another blog post!) We've had a VERY mild fall so far (I hope I don't jinx anything).
