So we planned on hitting the road early Saturday morning to ensure some water time on Lake Coeur d' Alene by the afternoon, the wakeboard legs were itchin' for sure! But, for anyone who knows my wife, or has a significant other like her, that wasn't going to happen. Our traveling companion family, the Martini's tried to plan for a departure from our Puyallup homes about 10ish (emphasis on the ISH). We actually hit the road about 12:30 and with all the stops we pulled in at almost 8:00! However, when we did, we knew it was all okay.

Here is some great information I found on the Washington Assoc of Realtors® page.
The State of Washington has approved the 2009 Economic Recovery and Revitalization Act including a "refundable" tax credit up to 10% of the purchase price of a home, maxing out at $8000. The home must be purchased between January 1 and November 30, 2009. The home buyer must not have owned a home in the last three years and have an income less than $75,000 for individuals or $150,000 for couples filing jointly. Currently, it is a tax credit, claimable on your tax return.

So awhile ago I started with the Distressed property blog and received plenty of responses (thank you). And truthfully I havent heard of anyone getting thrown under the bus yet.
I have been active in this niche and havne't had any troubles, legally that is. There are a few in our offices who also have taken advantage of the opportunity to help out a homeowner faced with impending default and possible the short sale., none of them have been called to court, yet.
