I noticed in the remarks section of a condo listing that the unit would " soon be going to auction".  With a little digging I discovered that there are several national sites providing real estate auction services to sellers and realtors alike.  Typically they provide various formats for the sale ( pre-construction, close-out, assignment, etc) .  I noticed that there were multiple units for sale for most of them.  The name of the site is: condobid.com.  The site is pretty well laid out, lots of helpful info, basic " how to", and terms of use for potential sellers, buyers and realtors.  … (0 comments)

   Most of us consider ourselves to have an awareness of safety issues in the workplace.  I want to remind fellow agents ( especially women) that there are many crazies out there !  Please observe personal and office guidelines for your protection.  Our office also observes the following procedures:
1. Always let the office know where you are.
2. Get the license number or photo I.D. if you are going to be in the prospects' car.
3. Call the office upon arrival and advise of additional stops to be made.
4. Stay between the prospect and an exit door.

Here in Southwest Florida, Fort Myers Beach in particular, we have seen a lot of new construction and  conversions to condo/hotels. That market has done very well for developers and buyers alike.  During the current buyers' market listings have increased, prices have softened and sellers are more open to discounts.
