The Northeast Indiana Market Report MAY 1, 2008 - 05/05/08 12:00 PM
There is good news on the horizon for the Northeast Indiana real estate market.
The homes currently pending to close are now at the 2006 level -- and slightly above the 2007 level.
The inventory units currently for sale are slightly higher (2900 vs. 2700) than last year.  The average days that a Fort Wayne home is currently on the market is 120 days (4 months.)  The average price is 97K.
Best news, though, is that the interest rates are at 5.875%.  And there ARE buyers out there. 
The greater Fort Wayne area is a great place to live and work.
