flowertown festival: The Summerville Flowertown Festival 2011 - 03/25/11 02:55 PM
The Flowertown Festival is right around the corner. Named by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast, you won't want to miss it!
This year the festivities will begin April 1, 2011 to April 3, 2011 from 9am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sunday. This weekend marks one of my favorite of the year-the Flowertown Festival 2009! When my children were young, my wife and I would walk them all down to the Festival together and go on the rides, get a hamburger at the Kiwanis booth, and take in all the arts and crafts and performing artists. At the end of the day, we had four exhausted, but happy children on our hands! As they got older, everyone went on their own schedule, but we'd all meet back to grab a Kiwanis burger together at noon. Fun memories. Now, two are married, one freshly graduated … (0 comments)
