fun stuff: Antique Auto Show In Hershey Next Week - 10/03/07 05:09 PM
The annual Fall Meet of the Antique Automobile Club of America starts next Wednesday, October 10, here in parking lots of Hershey Park and the Giant Center.
The automobile flea markets and car corrals are open every day at 7AM (thru Saturday) and feature literally thousands of vendors, new & used parts and collector cars on display.
As always, the toughest part of attending a big event here in town is the surface street traffic and the parking. In general, parking for the AACA events is in the grass lots on the north side of Hershey Park Drive and those along Route … (1 comments)

fun stuff: I Played Hooky Today to Watch the Drag Races - 08/22/07 04:03 PM
For the first time in many years, I played hooky today from the office.
Last week I wrote a blog post about my Sunday plans. The once per year NHRA Toyo Nationals at Maple Grove are a fun day for my wife and I. Well, about 12:30 on Sunday it started to rain and race cars don't do well in the wet and everything was pushed back to Monday. Well, Monday the rain started about 1PM and never let up ( I didn't go, too much to do at the office) and Tuesday they never got started.

fun stuff: Elvis is coming to Hershey - 01/14/07 07:40 AM
Hershey manufactures a lot of limited edition versions of their standard products for particular markets or events.
In an announcement in today's Harrisburg Patriot-News, they portrayed a limited edition Reese's Elvis bar which will be debuting this summer. It features Elvis' favorite food combination:
Peanut Butter and Banana Creme
I looked for a link in the Hershey website or a copy of the photo from the paper, it just isn't available today.
So Elvis fans, be on the lookout for this - You too can eat yourself up to 350 pounds like Elvis did.
