california: New California First-Time Buyer Mortgage Protection Program - 04/02/09 07:11 AM
Starting today, first-time home buyers in California have a new mortgage protection program available to them. This insurance policy provides "...involuntary unemployment and accidental death & disability coverage..." for W-2 employees opening escrow on a personal residence located in California or after April 2 and closing escrow on or before December 31, 2009. The funds for this program are on a first-come, first serve basis ... so get your application in!

Have you heard of La Crescenta, California? It's a charming town that is nestled in the foothills in Southern California. It's about twenty miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
The community has the feeling of a mid-sized town, in our opinion. There are differing areas, including some that are more rural. These areas are up the hills, in the mountains, and have many trees and a feeling like you've really been taken away from the city.
