The City of La Canada (also known as La Cañada Flintridge) is nestled against the mountains of the Angeles National Forest.   With the mountain lovely peaks as a backdrop, this rural community enjoys many recreational activities.
Among the most popular (and free!) activities is hiking.   For outdoor enthusiasts, there are many hiking trails in the city, stretching into the hills and to neighboring communities of Pasadena, South Pasadena and Altadena.
