California Real Estate Agents, add knowledge of the short sale to your arsenal! - 03/06/07 12:53 AM
The Short Sale (a short sale occurs when a lender agrees to write off the portion of a mortgage that's higher than the value of a home) training I went to today seemed timely.  After reading so many of the mortgage posts talking about "upside down" loans, 100% financing or "no money down" (Jeff Belonger, Karen George, Ken Cook), and driving through Sacramento this past weekend, I felt that any training on this type of listing will probably come in handy in the not-to-distant future.

At dinner tonight I was excitedly telling my husband, Garry, about Active Rain and the close community it has spawned.  I told him how we watch out for one another, give and receive encouragement, absorb all the information we can and share it with the group, and how the network is growing by leaps and bounds.  Garry said, "You sound like the Borg, part of a collective."
 Yes, yes, exactly!
Consider:
"The Borg have a singular goal, namely the consumption of technology...  The Borg only want to "raise the quality of life" of the species they "assimilate..."   This collective consciousness is experienced by the … (18 comments)
