First thing to do is go to South Beach.  South Beach is a large stretch of beach that greets you when you first drive into Crescent City.
There is plenty of parking.
There is also plenty to do.

I have been at Re/max Coastal Redwoods now for about 4 months.  Since I started there, I have been busy, busy, busy. 
The owners of my Remax office have a lot of energy and like to get involved in community events. 
Our county fair was July 31 - August 3 and the theme was, "Are you tough enough to wear pink?" Pink, of course, is the color used by breast cancer survivors to celebrate their achievement in overcoming the disease.

Crescent City/Del Norte County Market Report for July, 2008 - Worse than last month...ouch!
July residential sales had a 4% decrease in median price over June, which matches up with my observations of buyer trends.  I have written more offers in the last two weeks than in the previous four months and almost all of these offers, with maybe one exception, started out as low ball, more than 20% below the list price. Unfortunately about 1% of these offers convert to an accepted offer.
