The Treasure Island Sailing Center is gearing up to host our largest fundraiser of the year to support our youth scholarship fund! The BIG Team Regatta is a corporate sailing challenge that will be held on Friday, September 28th, 2012 at OCSC Sailing in Berkeley.  
My collegue Chris Cole, has been an active board member and raising money for their at risk youth scholorship fund for 10 consecutive years.

I wanted to give you an update on my article a few months ago on the much needed proposed new legislation by San Francisco Supervisors Scott Wiener & Mark Farrell being considered by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
This is a key piece of legislation that will address the annual condo conversion lottery. Designed expressly to squelch condo conversions, the lottery limits conversions of tenancies in common to condos to 200 units per year. Another beautiful day in Noe Valley, I took this picture today at 1pm, not a cloud in the sky, a perfect 78 degrees with no humidity.
It does not surprise me at all that real estate prices in this picture perfect neighborhood are sky rocketing, I mean come on, who wouldn't want to live here.

So much for the summer slow down this year, prices just keeping getting hotter in July in the Castro, Corona Heights, Buena Vista, Dolores Heights nieghborhoods.
As you can see from the chart the median average sales price is up $307,500 for Single Family Home Sales.

A stroll through Bernal Hill in Bernal Heights this time of year and you will see the grass has turned almost to gold.
Looking at home sales for July, gold can be found all over Bernal Heights as prices shoot up even higher then in June.
Single Family Homes Sold from June 1st to June 30th had an average sales price of $835,000 with an average price per square foot of $544.68 and final sales price over the original asking price of 5.79%
