We recently had dinner at one of Bernal Heights true gems, The Liberty Cafe. The location on Cortland Avenue is perfect for this neighborhood favorite. We were promptly greeted by Julie. She was delightful, warm, attentive, going out of her way time and time again to ensure we had the perfect experience...and we did. Not only was the service wonderful, but Julie made the dining experience fun as well.

It was bound to happen and finally it has. I'm not saying I'm a video star (yet) but I certainly have gotten my feet wet.
I attended Gen Blue in New Orleans, which is an international Coldwell Banker event for agents and brokers across the globe. Many great topics were covered and tips shared. As we all know social media has become an essential part of our marketing efforts. Those who do not hop on board will most likely be left behind. This subject was extensively covered.

The long awaited opening of the Precita Park Cafe is over. I stopped by last week and was delighted to see it open and as vibrant as you can hope for. Many of my clients, those who I've helped own a home in Bernal Heights, have also been waiting with excitement. I know that it will be a great addition and focal point to Bernal Heights and especially to those who live near Precita Park, which is how the name of the cafe comes about.

Yes I have confirmed that a new cafe is coming to Bernal Heights on the North Slope. This is tremendous news as the north slope of Bernal Heights which offers outstanding views of downtown San Francisco has been somewhat underserved when it comes to retail and commercial offerings. There are a few good cafes on Folsom, which I frequent offen.

San Francisco Inventory Levels Remain Low in Bernal Heights, Noe Valley, Potrero Hill, Glen Park
A quick scan of the weekly numbers shows a continued low number of properties available for sale in San Francisco.
2009 sales inched up from 2008 in single family homes and lagged slightly year over year for condos. Striking is that fact that sales for both categories came in at 4152 in 2009 compared to 6921 in 2004. This is a tremendous drop in the number of sales.

Can A Closing Go So Well?
I've been at this for awhile and have put in place a system to be sure that the parts of what makes a transaction go smoothly are in place. It results in what the buyer whom I represented in the purchase of a great house in Bernal Heights in San Francisco to say, "Thanks Frank. It went so smoothly that I can't believe how easy it was to go through the process of buying a house."
