The program is free and consits of 7 classes each 2 hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is a training/teaching time and the last hour and a half is fishing time. Jacob and I went to Basic Fishing I at Suson Park across from The Kennedy Rec Center on Wells Road. The teaching part was on safety, fish handling and casting. Although moving to a new place or starting a new phase in your life is exciting, nobody enjoys packing everything they own. st louis: Moving Glossary News You Can Use - 08/17/08 08:26 AM
CARRIER - Company transporting your household goods. DECLARED VALUE - Usually a value you place on all of the items you are moving. It's better to over estimate than to under estimate because any insurance will be based on this amount. ESTIMATE, BINDING - This is an agreement made in advance with your mover. It guarantees the total cost of the move based upon the quantities and services shown on the estimate. Note: you should ALWAYS try to get a written moving estimate, even if it is non-binding! ESTIMATE, NON-BINDING - This is what your mover believes the cost will be,

Locating not only a dependable but honest and capable handyman in St. Louis, Mo can be a bit challenging. But with these ideas and tips it might become a little easier for you. The first place I always go is friends and family and ask for a referral. Someone they've worked with in the past. They will always be glad to share any success they've had. Try Angie's list. But always, always ask for multiple references and check them out, even ask if you can drive by and see the work they may of done. (Like decks, block walls, etc.) Most good

st louis: Living the Loco in St Louis, MO - 08/07/08 07:17 PM
After a few months away from the active rain community, I have returned. Due to my daughter receiving her 2nd double lung transplant things have been crazy. We are now 6 months out and things are going well. Trying to get business that pays in today's market is something else, but the most important issue of 2008 has passed. With more and more REO's becoming available the banks are beginning to have some issues in getting reimbursements out in under 30 days. In one of my earlier posts I cautioned on dreams becoming nightmares and a few of my friends that

st louis: How a $39.00 investment became a $6200.00 commission - 09/27/07 11:41 AM
In 1997 I sold a young couple a small home in St. Louis. They have always been on our past client monthly mail out and 3 times a year invited to one of our customer appreciation get together's. Normally each year we do two events that are children orientated and 1 that is an adult only type event. This couple has never attended or expressed an interest in attending one of our events or even mailed back one of our client survey updates, that goes out each January that requests information on changes in clients families or to update favorite restaurants, etc. Just another

st louis: Worst Kitchen Design Goof-Ups - 03/22/07 07:01 PM
Here are a few of the best kitchen design bloopers and how to avoid them. Oversizing the island. Avoid an island with a depth over 48 inches as it can be hard to clean. There should be at least 42 inches between the island and surrounding cabinets to accommodate more than one person working in the kitchen. Not maximizing storage. Make the most of space by outfitting blind corners with swing-out caddies or lazy susans., deep pantries with pull out shelves, and drawers with full extension guides. Blowing off ventilation. A vented over the-range microwave or range exhausts heat and odors. This will improve air

We're driving to Atlanta from St. Louis, it will give Laurie (wife & partner) and I a chance to visit, chill out a little and review where our business is and where we are trying to get to. Our only concern is our 14 week old peek-a-poo puppy named Max Get it RE....MAX. Our other team member and son Steve adopted Max's brother and his name is Ricco. Max has been going every where with us but the convention is a no-no. We would really like to get together with some of our new Active Rain family. Leigh Brown suggested a get together on Sunday
