The Franklin, MA real estate market is a bit tricky to describe these days...Is it a buyer or seller market, you ask?  Technically it is a bit of both due to the fact that there is a resurgance of qualified buyers who are ready, willing and able to purchase a Franklin, MA area home but there are simply not enough available homes in any price range.

Franklin, Massachusetts--Franklin Public Library Offers New Services The Franklin Public Library Student Assistance Center is open for business. Qualified volunteers in Math, Science, Social Studies, Study Skills, Reading, and Language Arts are available on Mondays through Thursdays, from 3-5p.m to assist students in grades 2-8. We encouraged students to bring their homework or projects to the Center to work in groups, alone or with a volunteer.  
Volunteer and student application forms are available at the main desk at the Library. Please call 508-520-4940 x 2 for more information.

Road Closure Alert.....Partridge St, between Dover and Harborwood, will be closed to through traffic for construction from Monday October 24 through Thursday November 10.

Don't be fooled by the national news... Franklin, Massachusetts homes are selling! 
Take a look at this graph below to see the Franklin sales data for the past six months.  Homes are still selling about 3% from their asking prices and homes under $600,000 have recorded the most sales activity.  There have historically been fewer buyers who can afford to purchase a higher priced home or those buyers may be buying elsewhere.  The data also tells us that a home sale will likely take an average of 3 months to sell.
