In Franklin, MA real estate, the past three months(December, January & February) have produced 47 sales with an average sales price of $362,678. Franklin, Massachusetts homes were selling about 4% from their asking prices on average. Homes were sold in relatively equal volume over each price point up to about $599,000. There were only two sales above the $600,000 range and only three sales below $200,000. The Franklin, MA area real estate market is definitely on the mend compared to the past 4-5 years. We have extremely low home inventory which leaves us with far more buyers than homes to show them. It is the old supply and demand theory once again. Even though it is still February we have been experiencing multiple offers and bidding wars on well-priced homes! Where Are All the Starter Homes in Franklin, MA? - 02/08/12 01:51 PM
So a handful of homes have slowly been coming on the market in Franklin, MA in the last few weeks but we are still very limited in available home inventory. I'll define a starter home as one that is priced $350,000 or less. Although some would argue this as being an exorbitant price for a young couple just starting out, in this Franklin, Massachusetts area this is the norm. Buyers are definitely back in the househunting game after a brief respite over the holiday season and neither myself nor my Realtor colleagues have many homes to choose from. Here are some of
