I lost again.

nvar: 3rd time, NOT Selected By NVAR Nomination Committee - 07/17/08 05:34 PM
So a few of you might know that I lost in my race to get onto the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Board of Directors last year. Lost by 200 votes (out of 1200).
Anyhow, this year I am trying again.
Step 1 is to go in front of a nomination committee. A short cut, if you will, to the ballot. This was my 3rd time trying that route. Out of the 15 candidates, they picked 11. I was in the bottom 4.

The results are in for the NVAR Board race!
I LOST.
BUT SO CLOSE! Out of the 1,400 Realtor votes, I was just 200 votes short of capturing a seat on the 2008 NVAR Board of Directors!
If that wasn't good spin, I don't know what is! Isn't it funny how easily data can be manipulated.
Basically we were dead last!!
Anyhow, congratulations to Laura Fall, Sue Bower, Pat Kline, Scott Fortney and Trudy Severa (Here were all the candidates)
