roostcom vs franklymlscom: Is MLS data enough? Maybe in 2003. FranklyMLS.com - 03/27/09 08:53 AM

Was just reading Joel Burslem's post from the Future of Real Estate Marketing. Roost Changes Up Their Game.
I still don't get that site and why it gets so much press.
I know of no other actual users that use that site (and I get tons of names of sites when I ask "what other sites do you use" in my survey. Like Redfin.com)
My main gripe is this comment:
"Now pulling up a property on Roost gives you the full listing description straight from the MLS. No need to go anywhere else."
Sorry, but that is so 2003.

For every mud slinging political campaign, there has to be a response ad right? Well I'm like the response ad (even though the mud wasn't thrown at me) See "Roost Goes Negative" on Joel Burslem's page.
An Attack add by Roost.com vs Trulia.com Google Base and Yahoo's Home Search. (warning: kinda mean)
Here is my response AD comparing Roost.com to FranklyMLS.com
(I am Frank, and I approved this message) Conclusion: Go local of go home! But don't use Roost.com to go home*, or you might not find it. (I don't think that really made sense, but at least it rhymed.) … (2 comments)
