A new country song for Realtors and the fun of Active Rain

I recently wrote a post lamenting the inconsiderate spots where "some" listing agents place lockboxes. I called it The Lockbox Blues. While a number of comments suggested it might make a good country tune - Bruce Walter went the extra step. Doesn't this perfectly sum up the fun and friendship we enjoy in the Rain?  Thanks Bruce, I'm still chuckling.

 

Debb,  Hopefully listing agents have heard your voice,  and that they will change their inconsiderate ways (can you tell I work with buyers!!!)

If they do, perhaps you will be singing a new tune instead of THE LOCK BOX BLUES:

the factory code "SPI" is the very best!

Lockbox not too high or too low

The winds of Washington are fiercely blowing,

Knocking me down; delaying my showing.

Skirt flying high; mud covered shoes

Why I still have the lockbox blues!

 

So, the next time you're slogging through mud and muck, standing on your tip-toes, fearful of reaching into a dark spot (snakes and spiders), getting scratched by thorny shrubs, or bending over (in a skirt) to open up a lockbox - hum this little tune and keep on smiling.
