NEW ORLEANS SAINTS | INTERNET REAL ESTATE | MARKETING - 01/06/11 08:34 PM
Seattle v New Orleans Saturday 3PM It is the NFL Wild Card Playoff weekend. The Saints left New Orleans this evening for the beginning of the Post- Season. The Mayor of New Orleans has placed a bet with the Mayor of Seattle. I believe the Seahawks will want to lose if you look at the friendly bet wages. The seafood from Louisiana is worth losing for. This game will be closer than we would like here in New Orleans due to the injuries this season to the Saints roster.

Just like single family property, investment properties are hard to purchase. Now a day the lenders are requiring 25 – 30% down payment for investment property. On an average price of $200k the investors are looking at $45 to $60k down. At this rate, assuming little appreciation of the property value, it could take an investor 10 years to recoup their down payment. Looking to purchase Investment Property work with a Realtor who is an investor. Let’s share experience. I can help you find the right fit in investment property in the Greater New Orleans.

One of my goals is to go digital in 2011. My files are now saved to the computer hard drive and external hard drive. See my reminder post on backing up my files. I have been using efax for several years. Six months ago I switch over to a hard line totally (sending and receiving faxes). In addition I would then scan the file. The cost for efax was $16 per month and hard line $40 a month.
I purchase a magic Jack a couple of years ago. The experience was ok. My computer would work slowly (4 comments)
Agents should and are required to present any offer in a timely manner to the seller. Recently, I had an agent who did not present a valid offer due to the property disclosure not accompanying the purchase agreement. Understanding the importance of the property disclosure, to both parties it should not slow down the process. In Louisiana, we used the same purchase agreement through out the state. The last page has a require field. The field specifically state whether the property disclosure is attached or not. This changes in 2011, where this field is not (3 comments)
New Orleans Conveyance Office | Real Estate Marketing |Lakeview, Metairie, Kenner Homes for Sale - 01/02/11 08:58 PM
Starting the New Year 2011 off with a little hope. Hope in that the New Orleans City’s Mortgage and Conveyance Office can provide records so that real estate transaction can go forward. Since October it has been almost impossible to close a real estate transaction in the Parish of Orleans. This delay has stopped refinance, act of sales and pushed buyers to look elsewhere. Property in Jefferson Parish is a good buy and the Conveyance Office have their files back up so they will not hold up your purchase. The bright side is that so far my buyers are (4 comments)
