When looking for a home for sale, your Realtor (www.frankrubi.com) should be like an Olympian in their effort. This summer of 2008 our best athletes will travel to China to compete for the gold medals. Olympian contestants train each and every day. Whether it is in their event or in a physical value, they are in a Constance state of training. They must work keeping that high level of readiness. Challenges may come in many forms, and they must be ready to adapt and over come. The Olympians do not train for a day and … (4 comments)

The Buyer Wants to do Inspections before Placing a Contract

I have a client I am working with. She is a first time buyer and as a lot of advisors lending advise. One adviser recommends getting an inspection of a property before she places a contract on the property. That's ok I guess, but what if someone comes and places a purchase agreement during this inspection period? She would be out of the cost of the inspections.
My thoughts are to place the property under contract. As you know if there is anything in the inspection you have options. The … (11 comments)

Big Easy Real Estate News Iwww.Bigeasy.comGreater New Orleans Homes for Sale
Today, I ran across an interesting New Orleans own website. The website is the bigeasy.com. It contains all Natural New Orleans items. Although it is gear to the tourist, locals my fine it very helpful. Today the temperature is in the high 80's and is great for walking around in the French Quarter (don't forget to sip on some Kool Aid;). The crayfish are quite large and plenty full. Shrimp season will open shortly so come on down and enjoy yourself the water is great.

Emergency Procedure in Time of Natural Disaster
I have posted on backing up your data in the past. Today with the development of a storm in the Lower Atlantic, TS Dean, I think this point along with Hurricane preparedness is worth mentioning again. Texas is securing and preparing for a blow. Think about the items that are needed to recover from any natural disaster, i.e.... insurance papers, roster of agents and staff in your office. Prescriptions and pets are a concern. Remember prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Another point to consider in preparedness you're yard signs. They … (7 comments)

The Most important aspect of Client Relationship in Real Estate
While visiting with a client recently, the conversation change to what the previous listing agent did not do. Like most I have encounter the answer was lack of or NO communication. Communication is so important to our customers I feel it is a sign of professionalism.

Our office has step up to this challenge. We use a system call VML http://www.viewmylisting.com/.  This automated system works wonders. This system will allow the client to know exactly what you as the Realtor® are doing to sell their property. Some examples include but … (0 comments)

The Basics of Real Estate Investing
These are some points I always try to help my friends and clients understand when they are considering and want to play the game board game Monopoly for real. Real Estate investing is a great way to make a living. It takes learning and patience (lots of it). There are many area's we can explore but today I will start with these basic but still important thoughts.

Know the area where you plan to invest. First of all, the market is important to fully understand what the rent in your market is.  If the … (0 comments)
