Junior Golfers, Parents and Instructors,I missed all of you last week. We had a great championship. The Mackel - The New Orleans Men's Amateur Championship was won in sudden death by Andrew Noto. Andrew is a senior at the University of Louisiana/Lafayette. Andrew has been a visiting instructor to our classes and I am very proud for him. A great win. I am very proud of the Holy Cross Tiger Golf Team for volunteering their time both days of the championship.We will have class tomorrow - 9:30 to 10:00. A vote FOR Amendment #1 will protect homes from double taxation! Most homeowners in Louisianaalready pay property taxes. Real estate transfer taxes are simply another tax on the same piece of property.
