For the 13th year the Gladstone Summertime Bluesfest will be this weekend at the Oak Grove Park in Gladstone.
Oak Grove Park is located at 76th and N. Troost.
What's really nice about this bluesfest is it is FREE... that's right free and parking is only $5.00
This festival has grown to over 15,000 and attracks folks who love the blues not only from our community but surrounding counties and states.

kansas city north realtor: Gladstone Missouri Smoking Ordinance - 02/24/09 05:52 PM
This week the Gladstone City Council hammered out the details of its ban on smoking in most enclosed places.... places of employment and public places within city limits. This includes Gladstone's thirteen parks.The ban does have some exceptions for instance: bowling alleys, pool halls, bars and restaurants that seat less than 75 people as long as they post a sign that says "non-smoking areas are NOT available."A decision to my knowledge hasn't been reached as yet... but watch for a decision to be made shortly.

Do any of you use Google Reader?  I do.  I have searches set up that correspond with the area I sell real estate in.
One day I was reading my Google Reader and found this woman who had posted on her blog about an experience she had with a REALTOR®, which made her decide to sell her home on her own.
I responded to her, giving her some information about the process that evidently her previous REALTOR® hadn't given her and gave her some ideas where she could market her home since she was trying to sell it on her own.

Are you a David Cook Fan?
David is a native of Blue Springs, Missouri, which is a suburb of Kansas City.  Really nice town!
A Reece and Nichols agent has his childhood home for sale and she's using "David Cook's Childhood Home For Sale" to attract attention!
