Carroll Shelby is an icon in the Medical World, and in the Automotive World.  Mr. Shelby modified American "Detroit Cars" to surpass British, German, and Italian race cars.
 
    The former chicken farmer won LeMans in 1959. 
     Anybody who knows anything about cars considers "Shelby Cobra" to be one word.

Rest in Peace, "Goober" - George Lindsey of "Andy Griffith Show" and Hee Haw has Died - 05/06/12 09:36 PM
George Lindsey, who played "Goober" for 5 years on "The Andy Griffith Show", set in the idyllic hamlet of Mayberry, North Carolina. passed away today at age 83. Goober reprised his role for the Television Variety Show "Hee Haw".
