I've been doing real estate videos for a little over a year - longer than pretty much everyone else.  I've always had a feeling that video is not only the next big thing for real estate, but the next big thing for the web in general.  I really believe if video was doable 10 years ago, the web would have always been very video oriented.  Lots of people read novels, but more people watch the movie.  That's just the way it is!  Plus, most people do not like to read endlessly on a computer monitor.  It's hard to read and hard … (5 comments)

Home Staging and Virtual Tour Providers - How about this business idea?? - 01/20/07 08:50 PM
As I was out shooting a Video Tour of a home today, I had [what I think] is brilliant business idea/ collaboration.
This place looked horrible.  It was EMPTY. A video tour, or virtual tour - or even still photos of a house (and especially a condo) is nearly worthless when it's EMPTY.  
"Wow.. this room has four walls and a window... and THIS room also has four walls and TWO windows...!"  Just doesn't quite do the sales job online!
It looks horrible and really makes it difficult to sell, especially through photos or videos.
